I wrote today about my choice for direction by learning crypto. There are many, many, many coins / tokens out there in the world, but I feel that when you combine the two fastest growing, the biggest attention attracts things on the market today - crypto AND marijuana, the potential is super.
Cannacor is a new crypto that was introduced (the whitepaper below explains the purpose, metrics, etc.) to bring the world of crypto currencies together with the world of cannabis; to include growth, distribution, and the market economy. Their token is called "CANO" and is available for purchase now for early investors (see link to Cannacor below).
So this is what I will do. I will blog here about what I have learned about Cannacor, CANO tokens, and the entire ICO process (initial coin offering). I am completely new in this room, especially new to Steemit, but why not jump with both feet !!
Included in this learning exercise I need to open a new crypto wallet, which is compatible with ERC 20. I chose the MEW Wallet application on my mobile. Security is there with password protection from my account, and the phrases 12 or 24 words are used to authenticate actions on the application. So far, I have learned that the ERC 20 system is based on the ethereum blockchain, but not all ethereum wallets are compatible with ERC 20. I will post more about the ERC 20 token as I learn more and start trading and buying / selling these units.
